Reiki is universal life force energy. Whether you are feeling unsettled emotionally, physically or mentally, this wonderful energy healing system can help. Reiki is a complimentary, non invasive and safe method for healing our energy system.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is universal life force energy, which works on re-balancing body, mind and spirit. Rediscovered in Japan in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui, Reiki is an ancient, non-denominational form of energy healing, which pours life force energy into our whole system. As a Reiki practitioner, I facilitate bringing this energy for you to receive, with reference to human energy field and chakra system theory. Your energy system then draws Reiki in to provide healing where it is needed, whether that be on an emotional, mental or spiritual level. Reiki soothes and regenerates, and brings a sense of calm and relaxation. Afterwards clients often experience more clarity of ongoing issues and awareness of what actions, or changes are needed.
What can Reiki help with?
Reiki is a complementary therapy, that can work effectively alongside other prescribed remedies or treatments. If you have a serious medical condition it is not for me to diagnose or prescribe, I will suggest that you speak to your GP first. Although what Reiki can help with is unlimited, it does depend on whether we are open to receive the energy. It can take one or several sessions for healing to take place, and there can be many reasons for this. I suggest an initial 3 weekly sessions to start, with follow up sessions as and when required. I also offer distance Reiki treatment sessions.
What happens in a session?
I will welcome you into my therapy room, which is a comfortable and calm space. To start we can talk through what brings you to seek Reiki, how Reiki works, and what to expect in the session. Remaining fully clothed, you can either lay down or remain sitting, whichever is most comfortable for you.
When the Reiki energy flows, clients feedback that it is a relaxing and restorative experience. There can be emotional release, mental clarity and insights into past, ongoing situations and potential needs. It is important to say that it isn’t me or my energy that is healing you, it is the Reiki energy that I have been attuned to facilitate bringing to you, connecting with your own energy, and to flow where it is needed.
Fee per session:
In person: 60 minutes - £75.00
Distance healing: 60 minute session - £75.00
